KPSO and Lion's Club Family Day Picnic
Lower School Playground Dedication

On a beautiful day in September the KPSO held its Annual Family Day Back- to-School Picnic. Longtime picnic partners, the Lion's Club, donated the food and their services to the event.  Parents and Staff volunteered their time to help serve food and provide children with games and activities to enjoy the event.

This year's picnic was made even more special by the dedication of the new Lower School Playground.

Fundraising was a long-term activity undertaken by the NJSD community, KPSO, and the KPSEF.  A combination of donations and MKSD funds were used to purchase the equipment.
 
The playground, named "Cynde's Place" was dedicated to staff member, Cynde Vitelli, who passed away.  Cynde's love for our children will be forever remembered in the smiles of our children enjoying their playground.
